Three different race winners shared the spoils in round two of the 2014 New Zealand Superbike Championship at Timaru.

Saturday’s opening race was won by Suzuki rider Scott Moir, before Honda’s James Smith and Suzuki-mounted series leader Dennis Charlett split wins on Sunday.

Australian Linden Magee (pictured), riding an M1Motorsports BMW, was ninth in race one and progressed to fourth in the second, however a jump-start penalty dashed any hopes of scoring a strong result in race three.

The result sees Charlett continue to lead the championship on 133 points, 20 ahead of Kawasaki’s Nick Cole, who scored 3-3-2 results on the weekend. Smith is third, Moir fourth and Magee now fifth.

The Supersport round was won by John Ross, from race one winner Toby Summers and Alastair Hoogenboezem.

Taupo Motorsport Park will host round three of the series on 22-23 March.
