Australian Supersport racers Michael Blair and Aaron Morris will contest the 2015 Asia Road Racing Championships (ARRC) for Finson Motorsports Australia.

In addition to his national commitments, Blair will return to compete in the ARRC as part of Finson Motorsports Australia, joined by Morris as they look to race against some of Asia’s best riders on some of the great tracks in the region.

“I’m looking forward to racing for Finson Motorsports Australia again and am thankful for the opportunity to race in Asia,” Blair commented. “Tony has supported me for a few years and is excited to have Aaron join the team.

“It’s great to be teamed with Aaron, we get on well and have raced against each other often in Australia. We have updated machinery and hope to have a good crack at improving results against a world class field of fast factory supported riders.”

Contesting two full championships across Australia and Asia, Blair has a busy year of racing ahead in addition to a large testing regime. Furthermore, the varied weather conditions experienced in Asia require him to focus intently on physical fitness and he credits his ability to spend time on racing to his array of sponsors and supporters.

“It’s going to be a busy year ahead with a lot of racing both here in Australia and in Asia,” he added. “I am very fortunate to have such a supportive team around that allows me to focus on not only my racing, but my physical and mental preparation before and after events that ensures I am on my game each and every time I’m on the bike.

“Our team have a good fleet of sponsors and supporters that help to ensure we can achieve our best every time we hit the track and I’m looking forward to rewarding their ongoing commitment to me with some big results throughout the year.”

Blair is coming off a double victory in the opening round of the 2015 Australian Supersport Championship at Phillip Island, held alongside the WorldSBK opener in February.
