Title contenders crash off the podium to open the new season.
Suzuki rider Brayden Elliott has taken a surprise Supersport win to open the 2015 Australasian Superbike Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Elliott went 2-3-3 for the overall in a consistent effort, leading home Kawasaki-mounted Troy Guenther and Mitch Levy (Yamaha), first of the R6s.
Callum Spriggs (Yamaha) crashed out of race one, but rebounded to win races two and three, ending up fourth overall. In fifth was Michael Blair (Yamaha), who won race one but crashed out of the second.
