Brandon set for round one of the Australian Superbike Championship

Brando Racing press release:

Round 1 for the Over 300cc Production class kicks off this weekend at Wakefield Park in Goulburn. Brandon and new team mate Jack Dawes will campaign the new Yamaha R3 for the first time at the national event.

“We tested the new bikes last week at Wakefield and were very impressed with them during the initial hit out. I raced the R3’s baby brother (R25) in Asia last year and felt very comfortable the first few laps on the R3. It felt familiar”. Said Brandon

“This year we have stepped up our investment in terms of time allocated to racing in Australia. We have elected to step away from the Asian Series at least for this year, and concentrate on developing the Yamaha R3. We now have two of us racing the bike, so we can now double the amount of data we collect. We are expecting the Yamaha R3 to be a race winner right from the start.

I have previously won the 250cc Production Championship and the FX300 Championship. I would like to add the Over 300cc Production Championship to that list” commented Brandon
