The Series now heads north to sunny Queensland with round three seeing a return of the traditional race format kicking off at Toowoomba Motocross Club on 17 May 2009.

Event Promoter Kevin Williams said that despite tough economic times the Series was going from strength to strength with local communities embracing the Championship as it weaves its way across the nation.

“We’re only two rounds in and the response to the Series has been fantastic so far,” Williams said.

“Albury/Wodonga and Canberra have all thrown their support behind the Championship and we can’t wait to head up north for some warm weather and more epic racing.”

For those who haven’t quite made up their mind to come along their local round, Williams is adamant that spectators will not be disappointed.

“The riding that we have seen in the first two rounds has been unprecedented,” he said.

“All the riders have stepped it up and have been banging bars out on the track like their lives depended on it.

“The new race formats have had a dramatic effect on racing with riders and teams adapting to and changing their tactics in a scramble for big Championship points.

“With such a depth of talent spread across the field and a few young up-and-comers handing it to the seasoned vets, this is going to be one Series you don’t want to miss.”
