FMX: Free Hart tour to explode into Melbourne on Saturday

Hart and Huntington Freestyle Tour PR:

As Melbourne prepares to turn P!nk for the first of her 13 concerts, the international recording artist’s husband Carey Hart is also getting ready to make history when the first ever Hart and Huntington Tour kicks off at Rod Laver Oval this weekend.

Last month, Hart and P!nk announced they had teamed up to produce the Hart and Huntington Tour – a free event for the public which will run in conjunction with select stops on her Funhouse tour and feature freestyle motocross, street art, music and exotic car and bike displays.

It will be Hart’s first international performance in six years and furthermore it is the first time in history that the pair have teamed up together to produce a free event for the public.

Hart, who was the first man in the world to land a backflip, will officially launch the tour with a media preview at 11am on Thursday May 28, 2009 at the Melbourne Showgrounds.

“I am really excited about the tour,” Hart said, “Not only is it the first time the Hart and Huntington Tour has been conducted, it is the first time ever that P!nk and I have worked together on a project for our fans.”

The first stop of the Hart and Huntington Tour will commence at 2.00pm on Saturday May 30, 2009 at the Rod Laver Oval.
