Australia has a great heritage in endurance racing with a strong domestic history and great performers on the world stage including three-time Endurance World Champion Warwick Nowland, Cudlin brothers Alex and Damian, and current 2009 series leader Steve Martin.

But for 2009 we will see the prestigious 6-Hour event at Oran Park back on the calendar on 21-22 November, with many past and present professional racers already showing interest in fielding teams.
