Oz SX: Reed fastest in Kawasaki debut at Super X opener

Defending Super X, Australasian Supercross Champion, Chad Reed has made his Monster Kawasaki debut in the opening round of the 2009 series at Launceston, Tasmania, setting the fastest qualifying today. Check out Reed in his first public showing on the KX450F during today's qualifying.

Defending Super X, Australasian Supercross Champion, Chad Reed has made his Monster Kawasaki debut in the opening round of the 2009 series at Launceston, Tasmania, setting the fastest qualifying time today.

Reed qualified quickest ahead of fellow American-based riders Jake Moss (Rockstar Motul Suzuki) and Dan Reardon (Woodstock Honda), while CDR Yamaha teammates Cheyne Boyd and Jay Marmont rounded out the top five.

In the Lites, it was Matt Moss quickest for Suzuki, while Serco Yamaha’s American import Kyle Cunningham was second ahead of MX RAD’s Ryan Marmont.
