AMA MX: Rockstar signs on as series official energy drink

After elevating American Motocross to historic success in 2009, MX Sports Pro Racing and the Alliance of Action Sports (Alli) have announced a new partnership that will further elevate the most prestigious motocross championship on the planet, with ROCKSTAR Energy Drink the new “Official Energy Drink Partner” of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

Additionally, ROCKSTAR Energy Drink will be the event title sponsor of six of the 12 rounds on the 2010 schedule, including three rounds that will air live on NBC: the ROCKSTAR Energy Drink High Point National in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, on 12 June, the ROCKSTAR Energy Drink RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan, on 3 July, and the ROCKSTAR Energy Drink Unadilla National at New Berlin, New York, on 14 August.

The 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship 250 and 450 class champions were both members of the ROCKSTAR-backed Suzuki Factory Racing team.
