Monster Energy is now the official energy drink of Yamaha's WSBK team.

Building on Monster Energy’s title sponsorship of the Yamaha Motocross Teams, the two companies have further built on their ongoing 2010 relationship with Yamaha within the World Superbike paddock through the appointment of Monster Energy as the ‘Official Energy Drink Supplier’ of the Yamaha Sterilgarda World Superbike Team.

Both Yamaha Sterilgarda riders James Toseland and Cal Crutchlow carry personal Monster Energy sponsorship and the brand also enjoys title sponsorship of the Monster Yamaha Tech3 MotoGP Team.

Monster Energy and The Yamaha Sterilgarda Team have been working together for some time during the 2010 season, as a result of this official agreement there will be further visibility of the Monster Energy brand outside of the Yamaha Sterilgarda hospitality and on official team partner listings.

Monster Energy is an American brand of energy drink marketed and distributed by Hansen Natural Corporation, a NASDAQ listed company, of Corona, California. Monster Energy receives a large amount of recognition from its sponsorship of various sports, athletes and events.

Monster Energy is available in several different can styles and sizes, and over time has launched new flavours and ingredients onto the market. The company expanded into Europe during 2008 and are now increasing their world-wide profile.

2010 is the third year of a very successful relationship between Yamaha Motor Europe and Monster Energy with a number of Monster Energy Yamaha riders being victorious across the classes.

Upon forging the union in 2008 the Yamaha Monster Energy MX Team won the FIM MX1-GP World Championship with rider David Philippaerts.
