General: Honda Motokids to visit Canberra next month

The Honda Motokids initiative is set to travel to the Australian Capital Territory for its first visit on 28 November.

The event, which is aimed at kids on fun bikes, is scheduled to run at the national calibre Fairburn Park Motorcycle Facility just outside of Canberra.

Kids can expect a day filled with fun activities on the bike, plenty of free ride time on the motorcycle and even a few tips to improve those riding skills.

In its ninth month of running, Honda Motokids has made a huge impact on the motorcycling industry bridging the gap between first time riders and existing racers, giving the raw beginners a scheduled, safe riding and learning environment.

“The introduction of the Honda Motokids initiative really couldn’t have gone any better this year,” said Lee Hogan. “It has been such a great journey working along side all the kids and their families. The team and I are just blown away with the success of it all.”

This will be the first time that the Honda Motokids heads to the ACT.

The ACT motocross club, Fairburn Park, have shown so much interest in the Honda ‘Motokids’ initiative. Local Honda Dealership Canberra Motorcycle Centre will be there on the day, with the full range of Honda’s Mini fun bike’s for all the kids to jump aboard and try out.

The Honda Motokids program aims to provide a structured fun and safe learning environment for the young and up coming motorcycle enthusiasts.

Families hoping to enter can bring their own fun bike or come and try one of Honda’s cool range of mini fun bikes. Sorry but no motocross race bikes allowed on the day!

Entry fee is $50 for the day and all riders will take home a show bag with a bunch of goodies.
