Current Australian Superstock 1000 C and D Champion Cru Halliday has gained support from Clintons Toyota for this weekend’s final round of the 2010 Australian Formula Xtreme Championship, to be held at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway.

Clintons Toyota is a family owned business with over 50 years experience servicing the Camden and Campbelltown area of Sydney, with Camden’s Halliday excited to gain support from the dealership.

“I’m really excited to be teaming up with Clintons Toyota this weekend,” said Halliday, who will compete with a revised livery on his YZF-R1 during the round. “They are a great company and I am proud to represent them.

“I now have the added motivation to reward them with some great results for the faith that they have shown in me. I’ll be aiming for the top step of the podium. It’s been nearly two months since my last race and I can’t wait to get back on the bike to see where we are against some of the best riders in the country.”

Last time Halliday competed at Eastern Creek he impressed with a dominant victory in the FX Nationals at round three of the AFXC, before a scary high-speed incident at Turn One ruled him out of Sunday’s proceedings after crashing on a competitor’s oil spread across the circuit.

Halliday wrapped up the Australian Superstock 1000 C and D Championship at Queensland Raceway in August, taking a perfect tally of overall round wins for the season.
