Talented European-based Aussie Jed Metcher will replace Marty Craggill as part of Triumph Australia’s effort in the 2010 Bel-Ray 6 Hour to be held at Phillip Island on 3-5 December.

Metcher, who recently won the final round of the Superstock 600 FIM Cup at Magny-Cours in France, will replace former national Superbike champion Craggill in the team alongside Christan Casella and John Chiodo.

20-year-old young gun Metcher has been drafted in after Cragill has had to withdraw from the race citing medical reasons.

Metcher is the most recent Aussie international to confirm his participation in the event, which has moved from Oran Park to Phillip Island for this year, with Australia’s current BSB number two Josh Brookes also set to join Wayne Maxwell’s campaign aboard a Demolition Plus GAS Honda.
