Oz DT: Dirt Bike Super Prix set for Sydney Speedway

The Christmas Dirt Bike Super Prix will be contested at Sydney Speedway on 11 December.

The Christmas Dirt Bike Super Prix will be contested at Sydney Speedway on 11 December.

As the calender year winds up for motorcycle racing in New South Wales, riders will get one last chance to compete before Santa arrives at the 2010 Christmas Dirt Bike Super Prix.

Following the successful reintroduction to dirt bike racing earlier in the year, 11 December will see the recently re-launched Tyrepower Sydney Speedway open its gates once again to Dirt Track riders from across the country, to compete under lights at the world famous circuit.

As with the Sydney Dirt Bike Spectacular held in September, an array of classes will be catered for – spanning from juniors right through to the Pro ranks and will cover riders on two, three and four wheels.

To add to the atmosphere, there will also be entertainment for the whole family throughout the night, including fireworks, prizes, give-aways and maybe even a special appearance by Santa himself.

Racing starts at 6.00pm and is sure to be another action-packed night for the whole family.

Spectator entry is $25.00 for adults, $20.00 for aged and disability pensioners, $15.00 for juniors (13-15yo) and $5.00 for kids – those under five years old are free. A family pass for two adults and two juniors will cost $65.00.

Supplementary regulations and entry details will available shortly. In the meantime, you can contact race secretary Lyndel Butler on 0411 194 315 for more information.

Corporate packages and suites will also be available on the night. For more information you can contact Tyrepower Sydney Speedway on (02) 9637 0411.
