Broadford's MX Nationals opener moved back a week

The 2011 MX Nationals will commence one week later than planned at Broadford in March.

The opening round of the 2011 Rockstar Energy MX Nationals, Australian Motocross Championship, will be contested one week later than originally planned to avoid a clash with the Australian Superbike round in Tasmania.

Set to be contested at Broadford’s State Motorcycle Sports Complex in Victoria, the MX Nationals opener has been moved back a week to 13 March, largely so both series can utilise the full services of Suzuki RACESAFE at the events.

In other calendar revisions released by Motorcycling Australia this morning, Barbagallo’s third round of the ASBK alongside the V8 Supercars in Western Australia will be held on 29 April-1 May – a week earlier than originally planned.
