Husqvarna's all-new 900cc street bike has been spotted in a series of spy snaps near BMW's base.

Husqvarna’s highly anticipated 900cc street bike has broken cover in a series of spy images while undergoing testing in Germany.

The images, sent to us by Husqvarna’s Australian distributor Paul Feeney Group, were taken outside BMW’s base.

Its engine is based on that of the BMW F 800 R, albeit with a number of revisions including an increased capacity, and close up images of the early Husqvarna images display BMW on the cases.

You can also see that Husqvarna’s 900 has upside down forks and radial brakes, also featuring an angular supermoto-look in its styling.

The 900 will be the first Husqvarna street bike to combine BMW Motorrad technology with Husqvarna genes in terms of design and riding experience.

This is one of the first steps that demonstrates the synergy between BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna for the development of street bikes.
