The provisional calendar for the 2012 Superbike World Championship has been released by the FIM and Infront Sports.

WSBK will once again commence in late February at Phillip Island, ahead of a 15-round championship chase.

The second and third rounds are yet to be confirmed, however speculation has linked an Asian round to the series.

Russia will also debut on the calendar, with an event to be held at Moscow during August.
