Donald claims another runner-up in Supersport at IoM TT

Aussie captures third podium of 2012 Isle of Man TT in the second Supersport race.

Cam Donald added another podium at the Isle of Man in Supersport on Wednesday.

Cameron Donald claimed his third runner-up slot of the week in Wednesday’s second Monster Energy Supersport race of this year’s Isle of Man TT.

Michael Dunlop took his third TT win on Wednesday evening when he won the race by 13 seconds from Donald.

The Ard na Mara Homes/McAdoo Racing rider took over the lead halfway round the first lap when brother William retired and he gradually pulled away to the win.

The battle for third went all the way to the chequered flag though and it was Ryan Farquhar who got the better of Kiwi Bruce Anstey by just one hundredth of a second.

The results mean there’s everything to play for in the TT Rider’s Championship with just eight points now separating McGuinness (74), Anstey (67) and Donald (66).
