Australian David Anthony has claimed two top 10 finishes at the Barber Motorsports round of the AMA Pro SuperBike Championship over the weekend.

Anthony finished 10th in race one aboard his privateer ADR Suzuki GSX-R1000, before Sunday’s second race saw him improve by one position to ninth.

Teammate Jordan Burgess enjoyed a 12th place finish during Saturday’s proceedings, and backed that up with another promising ride in 14th on Sunday.

Victorian Trent Gibson, also aboard a Suzuki, had to settle for 17th in race one, before bouncing back for 12th in the second leg.

In the championship standings, Anthony’s now 11th, Burgess 15th and Gibson 19th at the halfway point.

Both races at Barber were won by Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Hayes, extending his series lead to 37 over Yoshimura Suzuki’s Blake Young.
