Nicholas Waters is following in the footsteps of brother Brodie by flying to the UK for the final round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship season at Brands Hatch and will make his debut with the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team alongside Karl Harris.

Waters joins the grid for the final three races of the season with the team following success in the Australian championships, he has scored podium finishes in the domestic Supersport class and in 2010 he was in the Australian Superstock Endurance Championship winning team.

“We are pleased to be able to offer the ride to Nicolas for the last round of the championship,” said team manager John Jameson.

“Obviously with Tom Grant’s decision not to continue racing for the remainder of the season due to his shoulder injury, we needed to work quickly to secure a rider of Nicolas’ ability.

“We are excited that Nicolas will complete our two rider line-up for the last round of the season.”

Waters has been competing in the Australian Prostock Championship this season, finishing fourth overall. He departed Australia this afternoon.
