Pirelli has announced an expanded Privateer Contingency Program for the Phillip Island 8 Hour.

Pirelli has announced an expanded Privateer Contingency Program for competitors racing on Pirelli tyres at the Phillip Island 8 Hour Australian Endurance Championship, held 1-2 December 2012 at Phillip Island circuit.

As the Official Pirelli Race Service for Phillip Island 8 Hour, SW Racing is now taking pre-orders for competitor’s wishing to race on Pirelli tyres at this event.

Teams are advised to pre-order their tyres via the Pirelli Race Service to ensure supply, and can be made available for pick up at Garage 19 at Phillip Island at the beginning of the event if pre-ordered.

Special Reduced Pricing for tyres for this event is as follows:
Diablo Superbike Slicks – $538 per set (120/70R-17 front and 200/60R-17 rear)

Diablo Supercorsa SC DOT Racing tyres – $ 500 per set (120/70ZR-17 front and
180/60ZR-17 rear)

Diablo Supercorsa SC DOT Racing tyres – $ 514 per set (120/70ZR-17 front and
200/55ZR-17 rear)

Riders must complete ‘The 8 Hour’ contingency form prior to the event to qualify for Pirelli Contingency, and show proof of Australian purchase of Pirelli tyres for this event. Full eligibility details are available here.
