Australian Arenacross set for Phillip Island WSBK weekend

Dirt bike racing set to take World Superbike opener by storm next month.

The 2013 Australian Arenacross Championship will kick-off on 23-24 February.

International Entertainment Group (IEG) has announced that the first round of the Australian Arenacross Championship for 2013 will be held on 23-24 February.

The event is slated to run alongside round one of the World Superbike Championship and the QBE Australian Superbike Championship at Phillip Island.

Arenacross is open to riders with national licenses from 50s to 450s, the Australian Arenacross Championship is an opportunity for riders to compete at a national level in an effort to fuel growth in the sports of arenacross and supercross.

Competitors from across the country will come together to determine the best arenacross riders in Australia. The Australian Arenacross Championship is promoted and organised by International Entertainment Group (IEG) and supported by Motorcycling Australia.

Supplementary Regulations will be available from the Australian Supercross website the week of Monday, 21 January. The schedule for the entire series is yet to be announced.
