Australia’s Josh Brookes continues to impress in his road race debut at the North West 200, finishing seventh in the Superstock race aboard his Tyco Suzuki GSX-R1000.

Alastair Seely won both the Superstock and Supersport races on Thursday at the Northern Ireland street circuit. Victorian Cameron Donald was 12th.

Honda TT Legends rider Michael Dunlop continued to dominate the Superbike qualifying on Thursday, securing pole position with a 118.211mph lap of the 8.9-mile circuit.

Dunlop was keeping his cards close to his chest afterwards, refusing to get carried away with his performance.

“When it comes to the races it will be a different story,” he said. “The rest of the boys will get their speed up then.”

Dunlop will start the Superbike race ahead of Anstey and Guy Martin, while Brookes will line-up fifth in another incredible performance.

Donald was also in strong form during the Superbike proceedings, slotting himself into position eight.

On Saturday roads close at 10:00am with the first of the day’s five races leaving the line at 11:00am.
