International Entertainment Group (IEG), promoters of the QBE Australian Superbike Championship, today confirmed the series will hold a test day open to all road-racing competitors at Sydney Motorsport Park on Thursday, 20 June.

Riders of all levels are invited to attend the test, with scheduled sessions to be held for Juniors, 0-500cc and 501cc-plus.

At $400 entry per competitor, the day will afford riders the chance to test at the iconic 3.9-kilometre Sydney track ahead of the fourth round of the QBE Australian Superbike Championship, which will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on 1-4 August.

International Entertainment Group managing director Yarrive Konsky said the test day provided an affordable opportunity for all competitors.

“The QBE Australian Superbike Championship returns to Sydney Motorsport Park after a three-year hiatus from the calendar, so we felt that it was important to give all competitors the opportunity to test ahead of the event,” Konsky said.

“This is a rare chance for competitors, to test at the Sydney track for an affordable fee of $400 per rider and we hope to see a lot of the privateer riders take advantage of the opportunity.”
