Yamaha Motor Australia (YMA) has announced the final of its three-stage Yamaha Genuine Parts price reduction plan, with improved retail prices provided to customers in an effort to generate more local business.

The initial stage was implemented in 2011 with YMA’s move to reduce prices on specific parts for its flagship R1 and R6 model ranges (2010 to current), along with leading off-road sellers.

Stage two was put in place in April this year, with a general price reduction on items with a retail value of $50.00 and over.

The final stage, implemented as of last Monday, 5 August, features a price reduction on items with a retail value of up to $50.00.

“After conducting analysis on all motorcycle and ATV parts prices Yamaha are pleased to be able to offer further support to it’s customers by successfully reducing the gap against overseas competitors and aftermarket retail prices,” said Coslin Isokv, national spare parts operations manager, Yamaha Motor Australia.

“We sincerely hope that our efforts will assist in securing improved local business for all concerned, so when in need of genuine parts, please enquire at your local dealer as you may get a pleasant surprise.”

The price reduction scheme was achieved with assistance from Yamaha Motor Company Japan.
