Visitors to MOTO EXPO Brisbane will be treated to some of the most exclusive production motorcycles in the world with boutique brands Confederate, EBR Buell, Viper, Bimota and Benelli all confirmed to exhibit at the 21-23 March event.

With many of these motorcycles available for test rides, event patrons will be able to sign-up for the scheduled jaunts that will depart the RNA Showground’s.

A series of presentations with special guests will also take place on the main stage explaining the advantages of the technology used in the production of many of these bikes.

Mark Petersen, general manager of Troy Bayliss Events said it was great to have such quality brands confirmed to exhibit at MOTO EXPO

“It is fantastic to have such quality brands exhibiting at MOTO EXPO,” Petersen said. “Many of these bikes have some of the most advanced technology used in motorcycle production.

“We still have many more brands to announce including motorcycle, scooter, atv, UTV and PWC’s.”

In exciting news for Australian Speedway fans, three-time World Speedway Champion Jason Crump has been confirmed to captain one of the five teams in the Baylisstic Scramble Teams Challenge.

Crump will lead a team of four riders in the 20 rider Baylisstic Scramble that has already seen triple World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss and World Supersport Champion Chris Vermeulen confirmed as captains.

“I’m looking forward to returning to the RNA Showgrounds for the teams challenge,” Crump said. “I can remember racing in front of huge crowds within that main arena, it always had a great atmosphere, it will be good to see bikes racing there again.

“I raced the Troy Bayliss Classic earlier this year in Taree and will be returning again next year, I’m enjoying having fun on the bike and riding with good mates, the teams challenge will be like the league style racing overseas and I look forward to captaining my team at MOTOEXPO”

The Baylisstic Scramble will feature dirt flat track style racing with a series of left and right corners along with two main straights. Entry to the Baylisstic Scramble is included in the Saturday’s MOTO EXPO entry.

Visitors to MOTO EXPO on Friday and Sunday will be able to watch the Baylisstic Scramble guest riders in practice and demonstration sessions.
