Versatile Aussie international Damian Cudlin has been confirmed for next year’s Troy Bayliss Classic, to be held at Taree Motorcycle Club on 18 January.
Ahead of his guest appearance at this weekend’s Tissot Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix for Paul Bird Motorsports in MotoGP, Cudlin joins fellow GP contenders Ant West (Moto2) and Jack Miller (Moto3) on the grid.
“I am really excited to have been invited back to compete in the Troy Bayliss Classic again, especially after the fun I had last year,” 30-year-old Cudlin said.
Bayliss said Cudlin is a welcome addition to the all-star grid, both Taree locals who have gone on to compete on the world stage.
“The majority of riders competing in the classic started racing on various dirt tracks around Australia,” Bayliss said.
“The races are short, fast and in Taree 12 on a grid. It is exciting to race and the spectators really create a great atmosphere.”
