The Motorcycle Road Race Development Association (MRRDA) will outline its structure for 2014 during this weekend’s Sydney Motorcycle Show at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre on 15-17 November.

MRRDA will introduce a Honda CBR500R control category next year, also set to utilise Yamaha’s revamped YZF-R15 in the Junior four-stroke category.

During the show the MRRDA will have a CBR500R and YZF-R15 on display, with photo opportunities planned for kids that can be later downloaded via the MRRDA Facebook Page.

“We have recently welcomed some new faces on to the committee who will become known shortly,” commented MRRDA founder and chairman Paul Edwards.

“What we have accomplished in the last few months is amazing and I cannot wait to get started. The MRRDA stands for learning and development, integrity, rider focussed, team work and quality.

“With the Honda CBR500R we are ready to bring to the scene a class where you simply turn up to find your bike serviced, prepared and waiting for you at each race, while the Yamaha R15 brings a new level to the Junior four-stroke racing.

“The Sydney Motorcycle Show is a great platform to get in contact with young talented riders and partners that would like to get involved and I am looking forward to welcoming them all at our stand.”

Red Bull Rookies Cup contender Olly Simpson will be appearing at the stand throughout the weekend, alongside MRRDA series winner Max Croker and 10-year-old Jack Cousens.

The MRRDA will be situated at stand 34 in hall three throughout the 2013 event.
