Structure of revamped Ducati Superbike Team officially announced

Ducati has announced that the brand new factory Ducati World Superbike Team will be run out of Ducati's racing department in Bologna, Italy, in collaboration with Feelracing in 2014.

After splitting with Alstare, Ducati will take its WSBK team in house for 2014 with Feelracing.

Ducati has announced that the brand new factory Ducati Superbike Team will be run out of Ducati’s racing department in Bologna, Italy, in collaboration with Feelracing in 2014.

The team will field Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano aboard the 1199 Panigale next season (click here for details).

The Ducati Superbike Team will come under the direct responsibility of new Ducati Corse general manager Luigi Dall’Igna and Paolo Ciabatti, in his role as Ducati Corse sporting director.

Ernesto Marinelli has been confirmed as Superbike project director, with Serafino Foti assuming the role of team manager.

Already operational with an efficient and well trained structure, the team is ready and motivated to face the challenge of 2014.
