Applications are now open for wildcard positions in the Phillip Island round of the 2014 Superbike World Championship.

The event, scheduled for 22-24 February, will open next year’s WSBK series, including the brand new EVO sub-category.

“We are fortunate in Australia to host three motorcycle racing world championship events in 2014 with the World Superbikes the first FIM sanctioned race to visit our shores,” said Motorcycling Australia CEO David White.

“A local racer holds a home track advantage in a world event like this and can make use of that knowledge when competing against the world’s best riders.”

Applications are now open for both the Superbike and Supersport categories and close Wednesday, 4 December 2013. Click here to download.
