Troy Bayliss Events has announced that international road racers Karl Muggeridge and Alex Cudlin as the latest riders to contest the Motul Pirelli Troy Bayliss Classic.

With this being the first time both riders have contested the Troy Bayliss Classic, Muggeridge confirmed he was already prepping his bike ready to do some flat track testing.

“I received my new bike last week so the boys are flat out getting it prepped so we can get out and turn some wheels – it’s been a while,” 2004 World Supersport Champion Muggeridge explained.

“I’m also really looking forward to catching up and hanging out with some of my old mentors, opponents and heroes. Bring on January 18.”

The Motul Pirelli Troy Bayliss Classic is a very unique event with 36 Australian and international guest riders from all disciplines, coming together to compete on the short course oil based dirt track.

With Motul and Pirelli announced as the title sponsors, the Classic will also be supported by presenting partners including InsureMyRide, international food company Massel and local Taree business Garden Master.

Additional partners include Taree business Timberfast Building Supplies, Unifilter, Arlen Ness, Bell Helmets and MOTOEXPO.com.au, while Rockwell Watches, Jetpilot Clothing, Serco Motorsport and Coates Hire are all product suppliers.

The Motul Pirelli Troy Bayliss Classic will take place at the Taree Motorcycle Club on Saturday, 18 January.
