Levi Day will again campaign a Kawasaki in British Superstock 600.

Australian road racer Levi Day has signed with C.P.E Motosport (Cobra Precision Engineering) for 2014 to contest the British Superstock 600 Championship.

Day will ride a Kawasaki ZX-6R in the series, coming off a rookie season that saw him earn a pole position, top five finish and place ninth overall in the championship.

C.P.E will be fielding a two-rider squad with Day and Rowan Miller, benefiting from support by motorcycle engineer Alan Cook.

“I worked with Alan Cook in the first half of the 2013 season on board the Motobreakers Kawasaki, before they went their separate ways,” Day said. “Alan and I have a great relationship which has helped shape next season and I’m looking forward to working with him again.

“Triff runs a very professional team, and has put together a great bunch of guys to take on the 2014 season. With people like John to help us improve the bike and our riding, I’m confident we can be a competitive force next year.

“C.P.E are also giving me some work at their Hampshire-based engineering business as I am a fitter and turner back in Australia. This has definitely taken some weight off my shoulders having some income over in England.”

The ethos of the team, headed by owner Simon ‘Triff’ Stevens alongside former BSB rider and crew chief John Crockford, is to run a professional team dedicated to rider development and education in the craft of racing, while also getting the best track performance from the budget available.
