Australian Road & Track Rider Promotions has released an updated version of the 2014 Australasian Superbike Championship calendar.

The changes are as a result of potential clashes with the other events, including the New Zealand Superbike Championship opener.

“A number of minor changes have had to be made to the provisional 2014 Australasian Superbike Championship Series dates to get rid of possible clashes with other events and to space the rounds as equally as possible,” an announcement from ARTRP general manager Terry O’Neill said.

“Three dates have had to be moved. The first round has been moved back one week earlier, so as not to clash with the NZSBK championship.

“The fourth round of the championship at Winton has been moved back several weeks to space it out further from the fifth round of the series that had to be moved one week as well. Now all rounds are at least five weeks apart from each other.”
