Motorcycling Australia (MA) has taken complete responsibility over prize money to be paid during the 2014 Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK).

Following an inconsistent number of years handled by series promoter International Entertainment Group (IEG), MA will pay out over $56,000 in prize money this season.

Motorcycling Australia’s CEO David White recognised the integrity of the championship lies in delivering on its promises and 2014 is a make or break year for IEG and MA.

“We will pay the prize money direct to the riders within seven days of the conclusion of each round, either by cheque or direct deposit,” White confirmed.

MA has again confirmed it will also be actively involved in the administration of the championship. The supplementary regulation for the 2014 series are due to be released mid-January.
