Former WSBK team manager reunited with Ducati

Longtime Ducati Superbike World Championship team manager Davide Tardozzi will return to the Italian manufacturer in 2014, a statement from Ducati Corse has confirmed.

Tardozzi will be in charge of the organisation and logistics of the Ducati Team in the MotoGP World Championship, reunited withe the brand after four years.

The experienced former racer had a very successful career as Ducati team manager in WSBK, collaborating with champions of the calibre of Carl Fogarty, Troy Bayliss, Troy Corser, James Toseland and Neil Hodgson.

In total, Tardozzi contributed to Ducati winning seven riders’ titles in the production-based racing series.

Tardozzi will report directly to Ducati Corse sporting and MotoGP director Paolo Ciabatti, beginning his new role in the Ducati Team starting with the first MotoGP test at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia on 4-6 February.
