Suzuki’s flagship sportsbike, the 2014 Suzuki GSX-R1000 has arrived in Australia, ready to own the racetrack.

Featuring class-mastering performance, cutting-edge technology, design and engineering, the sixth generation GSX-R1000 is the ultimate fusion of performance and design, delivering unparalleled mid-range power and acceleration.

The 2014 Suzuki GSX-R1000 is an unsurpassed package, powered by a 999cc, in-line, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine delivering 136kW of power and featuring Suzuki’s Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel-injection system and a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio.

The Suzuki GSX-R1000 once again dominated Australian Superbike Championship, winning the premier class title for a second consecutive season. One of the most successful race machines of the modern era, the GSX-R1000 has won multiple championships and filled 1000cc production based road racing grids worldwide.

Ridden by 2013 Australian Superbike Champion Wayne Maxwell, five-time New Zealand Superbike Champion Robbie Bugden and three-time Australian Superbike Champion Shawn Giles, the GSX-R1000 continues to own the racetrack.

A proven race winner around the world, the 2014 Suzuki GSX-R1000 features race-bred technology, with an outstanding in-line four-cylinder engine, lightweight chassis, advanced braking and suspension packages and sleek aerodynamics.

The 2014 GSX-R1000 is now available for a recommended retail price of $18,490 in Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White (pictured above) or Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Grey colour schemes and is backed by Suzuki’s two-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.

The 2014 Suzuki GSX-R750 thoroughbred sportsbike has also arrived, guaranteed to turn heads in two striking new colour schemes.

The original 750cc Supersports bike on the market, the 2014 GSX-R750 continues a legacy dating back to the model’s ground-breaking launch in 1985, where it took race replica motorcycles to a new level.

The GSX-R750 is a direct link between the racetrack and the streets and delivers powerful performance with supreme handling, making it a truly individual street machine.

Powered by an advanced 750cc, four-cylinder engine producing 110kW of power, the 2014 Suzuki GSX-R750 features the latest Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system, delivering impressive throttle response along with improved fuel economy and reduced emissions.

The Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) optimises engine output and provides riders a selection of two engine maps to suit the conditions or their riding preference.

The GSX-R750’s chassis has been designed with an emphasis on weight reduction and compactness to improve overall handling and provide an ideal power-to-weight ratio.

The lightweight twin-spar aluminium frame, made from just five cast sections and cast swingarm, delivers superb cornering on both the road and racetrack, with optimal rigidity and unmatched accuracy.

The GSX-R750 features inverted, lightweight Showa Big Piston Forks (BPF), developed on the racetrack for even more supreme handling.

For greater stopping performance, Suzuki’s 750cc powerplant incorporates four-piston Brembo monoblock front brake calipers and 310mm dual floating discs, and a single piston rear brake caliper with a 220mm disc.

The full function instrument cluster sports an analog tachometer; LCD readouts include speedometer, odometer, dual trip meter, reserve trip meter, clock, coolant temperature/oil
pressure indicator, S-DMS and gear position indicators.

In a standout Metallic Mat Black/Pearl White (pictured above) or Glass Sparkle Black/Pearl Mira Red livery and backed by a two year, unlimited kilometre warranty, the 2014 Suzuki
GSX-R750 is now available for a recommended price of $15,990.

Equipped with two performance settings, the refined Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) offers advanced digital engine management for instantaneous switching between engine maps to suit rider preference or riding conditions.

An innovative slipper clutch helps makes downshifts smoother and more controlled, while the six-speed transmission features finely machined drive ratios for excellent low-to-mid rpm range acceleration performance.

The GSX-R600’s race-inspired chassis features inverted Showa Big Piston Forks (BPF), delivering supreme handling performance.

Advanced stopping power is provided by dual radial-mounted, four-piston Brembo monoblock calipers and 310mm dual floating discs, and a single piston rear brake caliper with a 220mm disc.
