Just like Wayne Maxwell in the Superbike class, it was a tearaway win by Kyle Buckley (BC Performance A1 Kawasaki) in the Ninja FX 300 class winning all three races at Mallala.

Buckley was like a thoroughbred colt as he stormed to three race wins. In race he bolted off into the distance winning by 4.170s beating ex-500GP racer and BSB racer Paul Young on the Kawasaki Motors Finance machine. Then in race two he won by a massive 6.020s beating Bailee Perriton (Fujitsu/ESPC Services).

“Today I could not have hoped much more,” he said. “Three from three. I have been working up to it, and finally we have had our day, so I’m happy!”

Second on a countback went to Brandon Demmery (Noiseguard Racing/Zeneth Removals/Pirelli/ RST/LS2 Helmets) stringing together a 4-4-2 result while Young finished third who was playing hard with the young guns.

Forth on 46 points went to Sophie Lovett (Kawasaki/Ricondi/Shark/Held), who was one point ahead of South Australian Di Jones (BC Performance A1 Kawasaki). Grant Jordan took out the Ninja FX 250 class with three wins on the trot as well.

Chris Trounson (Gas Honda/Unichip Australia) had an almost near perfect day in the Formula Oz class scoring a 1-2-1 to beat Adam Christie (Ace Racing/Moto-Adelaide/Under Ground Design) while Dynotech Pirelli BMW’s Ben Nicolson finished on the podium in third snaring a 2-9-5.

Nicolson, who now holds the lap record which was set in race one with a 1m08.023 hit the deck running in race two but was able to bring the bike home to score those 12 important points.

Fourth went to New Zealander Ryan Hampton (Treble Cone Ski Fields NZ/ESPC Services/Fujitsu Heatpumps) with Mathew Harding in fifth who finished with a third in race one, won race two beating Trounson. But in the final race Harding came off which also involved Phil Lovett, Liam Wilkinson.

In the Pro-Twins class, James Arnold took out the F1 from Simon Galloway with Mario Gonzalez in third. Darren Jones tasted victory in the F2.

The Nakedbike F1 class was taken out by KTM rider Angus Reekie winning all three racers and Royce Rowe took out the F3 class.
