Ducati Australia has announced Anthony Minichiello as the brand’s newest ambassador, rugby league captain of the Sydney Roosters.

Minichiello, whose passion for motorcycling has stemmed from an early age when he was just a boy living out in South West Sydney, has taken delivery of the brand new Ducati Monster 1200 S in Silk White.

“I’ve always admired the Ducati brand as my father is Italian and loved racing,” he explained. “So I became a fan of Ducati at a very early age. It is a privilege to come on board as a Ducati ambassador and look forward to a great partnership.”

The Monster is an iconic model in Ducati history, being released over 20 years ago and becoming an icon of the original naked bike.

“It’s with enormous pleasure we welcome Anthony to the Ducati family as our newest brand ambassador,” said Warren Lee, Ducati Australia CEO. “Anthony is a great role model for rugby league and the community reaching the very pinnacle of the sport, in many ways reflecting the same values as Ducati.

“He has a natural passion for our brand, something he shares with our other brand ambassadors; chef Matt Moran and V8 Supercar driver Will Davison.”

Minichiello will be protected aboard his Monster 1200 S in a range of apparel including the Ducati Hi Tech Jacket, Ducati Logo 14 Helmet, Ducati Urban Boots, Ducati Company Jeans and Ducati Urban Gloves. For more information on all visit www.ducati.com.au.
