Motorcycling Australia has released the provisional rider list for round two of the 2014 Australian Superbike Championship to be held at Phillip Island on 19-20 July.

In encouraging news for the final round, nearly 90 entries (including cross entries) have been confirmed. The Superbike category has 16 entries at time of printing.

Glenn Allerton returns to defend his round one win in the Superbikes but will face increased competition from late entrant Jed Metcher, who is making his return to competitive racing after recovering from injury, and Linden Magee.

Daniel Falzon and Aiden Wagner will be an interesting battle to watch as they trade blows around the Phillip Island circuit in the Supersport class, which features a field of 21 riders.

Jessica Derrin and Tayla Relph both return to defend their leads in the 250 Production and Moto3 Classes respectively. Regretfully, due to a lack of entrants the Junior Class has been cancelled.
