Sunshine Coaster Aiden Wagner will partner with Oz Wildcard Racing for the remaining rounds of the 2014 Australian and Australasian Supersport championships.

Wagner will maintain his focus on the Supersport categories now using Mupo Suspension with support from Oz Wildcard Racing/SW Racing’s Stewart Winton.

It’s also been revealed that Wagner is in the picture for a 2015 World Supersport wildcard at Phillip Island, potentially set to make select appearances in the meantime aboard Oz Wildcard Racing’s WSS-spec YZF-R6 in the ASC Formula Oz ranks.

Wagner has conducted two test days with the team in preparation for this weekend’s final round of the Australian Supersport Championship at Phillip Island.

“It’s been a busy time since we were last on track, joining Oz Wildcard Racing/SW Racing and riding on Mupo Suspension,” Wagner said. “I’ve had a couple of days testing with Stewart and the whole bike set up has felt amazing.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can achieve as a team this weekend at Phillip Island. The Phillip Island track is one that I really enjoy and I’m looking forward to hitting the track on Friday.”

The first round of the ASBK series saw Wagner take two second place finishes in Queensland earlier this season.
