Australia will feature six confirmed entrants in this weekend’s third round of the 2014 FIM Endurance World Championship, the 8 Hours of Oschersleben, in Germany.

MotoGP regular Broc Parkes will make his second appearance of the season in an expanded Monster Energy Yamaha effort, lining up alongside Paul Bird Motorsports grand prix teammate Michael Laverty on board the number 07 YZF-R1.

Rick Olson will be the only Australian in the Monster Energy Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YART) this weekend after CycleOnline.com.au broke the news on Monday that Wayne Maxwell has sustained a broken collarbone in a motocross training incident. Olson will partner Igor Jerman and Maxwell’s replacement, Sheridan Morais.

Gareth Jones continues his campaign with Team R2CL Suzuki alongside Gwen Giabbani, while German-based Aussie Alex Phillis has been announced by the Maco Racing Team on board a Yamaha.

Moto2 race winner Anthony West is also scheduled to make a surprise start at QMMF Racing Team within the Superstock ranks, featuring on the pre-race entry list, partnering experienced countryman Alex Cudlin and Mashel Al Naimi.
