Yamaha will take the wraps off its highly anticipated 2015 model YZF-R1 at the EICMA Show in Italy on 3 November, a teaser film officially released today indicates.

According to a statement released by Yamaha, distributors around the world have teamed up to release the teaser movie, which highlights a race track and the statement ‘The beginning of a new era’.

However, Yamaha has stopped short of officially confirming that the teaser is in fact the new R1. Aside from a series of teaser frames, technical information remains scarce on the all-new model. Watch this space.
