This weekend at Valencia’s final round of the 2014 Moto3 title battle will be settled, with just 11 points separating championship leader Alex Marquez and second placed Jack Miller.

The Australian will seek victory and hope that his title rival Alex Marquez does not place on the podium. The Valencian track is well-suited to Miller’s riding style, who holds five wins, four podiums and eight poles so far this season.

“The Comunitat Valenciana Circuit is one of my favourites,” Miller said. “It is a very special track, where I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere – especially for the big races – and it is always full. I’ve never actually finished a race there, but I think I have had good performances.

“We will have to start setting the bike up from scratch, because even though we were there in pre-season the conditions are completely different. We must seize this last chance for the title. We’ll see what happens in this very decisive race.”

Below are the scenarios with regard to the world championship title:
– If Miller wins the race, Marquez needs to finish on the podium to become world champion.

– If Miller finishes second, Marquez needs to finish sixth or better to become world champion.

– If Miller finishes third, Marquez needs to finish 10th or better to become world champion.

– If Miller finishes fourth, Marquez needs to finish 13th or better to become world champion.

– If Miller finishes fifth, Marquez needs to finish 15th or better to become world champion.

– If Miller does not finish in the top five, Marquez will become world champion.
