Wayne Maxwell (Team Motul Honda) and Motul have combined to take out another two road racing championships in emphatic fashion.

Maxwell proved himself to be the premier rider in both the Swann Insurance Australasian Superbike Championship and the YMF Loan Yamaha Australian FX Superbike Championship in 2014.

When both Superbike series’ came to a close at the final round held at Eastern Creek, Maxwell and Motul each had another pair of titles to add to already impressive resumes in motorcycling excellence.

Speaking after the successful 2014 campaign, Maxwell admitted that the special feeling is made all the more sweet thanks to the support from such a trusted brand like Motul.

“To win both championships is absolutely awesome, but to be the first person ever to win an Australian Superbike Championship and the Australasian Superbike Championship is pretty special,” he said.

“One sponsor has been with me the whole time throughout and that’s Motul, so it really is a great honour.”

Maxwell directly attributed the confidence and reliability in Motul’s performance to his end result of finishing on top of the podium.

“The confidence in getting on the bike knowing that the oil in the engine and all the other products that are around and on the bike are bullet proof, it gives you that peace of mind and you just don’t have to worry about it when you are out on the track.

“All the products are easy to use – they are really great products and that makes everything run smoothly.

“It gives you one less thing to worry about in what can at times be a super stressful environment.”
