Supp Regs released for Phillip Island 2015 ASBK opener

Phillip Island Circuit and Motorcycling Australia (MA) today released the Supplementary Regulations for the first round of the 2015 Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK), to be run in conjunction with the FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK).

The combined WSBK/ASBK event gives local riders the opportunity to showcase their talents on an international stage, with the event offering over $15,000 in prize money across the Superbike, Supersport and Moto3/125GP classes.

Juniors are also eligible to enter in the 85cc (aged 12 Years to Under 16 Years) and 160cc (12 Years to Under 16 Years) classes.

The Australian Superbike and Supersport races will also attract points towards the 2015 Phillip Island Championship, which will be decided at the 2015 Australian MotoGP, subject to FIM ratification.

Entries are open now and will close Friday, 23 January 2015. Entries received by this date once accepted are guaranteed to be listed with their nominated entrant in the Official Event Program.
