Experienced South Australian David Johnson will return to the MCE British Superbike Championship grid in 2015 after signing a deal with the MotoDex Performance First Racing team on a BMW S 1000 RR.

Johnson will partner former World Supersport contender Robbin Harms in the Superbike class, with technical backup from Alpha Racing and Hawk Racing.

“I’m mega excited to be back in the premier class and getting to grips with the MotoDex Performance First BMW,” Johnson said. “It’s a new team with experienced guys within the team with some trusted guys that I bring with me.

“With Robbin as my teammate it will be great. He’s an experienced rider and we will push each other to get results. My last season in BSB was 2010, so I can’t wait to get started. It’s going to be awesome!”

Harms lined up with the team in the closing rounds of 2014, while Johnson returns to the Superbike class after campaigning in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship this year.
