Australian Levi Day has re-signed with CPE Motosport for the 2015 season, to compete in the British Supersport Evo Championship.

Day rode a CPE Motosport Kawasaki in the Superstock 600 series last season, finishing the championship eighth overall and prompting the step up to Supersport Evo.

“I’m really pleased to be riding with CPE Motosport again for 2015,” Day said. “Our race results didn’t always reflect the pace we had at most tracks. Considering some of the tough races we had, I’m happy to have come away with eighth in the championship.

“The people involved at CPE are great. Having someone like John Crockford mentor me and work with me on the British circuits is a huge help and certainly helped me pick up my game in 2014. Simon [Stevens], the team owner, always works hard to give me the best bike beneath me.

“We had a flawless year of reliability. I’m really keen for two races each weekend in the Supersport Evo Championship this year. We have got plenty of testing organised and working with the same bunch of guys for a second season, I feel is a real positive to take a serious shot in Supersport Evo.”

The team will continue to field ZX-6R machinery in 2015 for a third consecutive season.
