Queensland Raceways will host a three-round FX Race Series in 2015, marking the return of non-national road racing to the Queensland Raceway circuit for the first time in over five years.

The series is to be contested over a single day for each round and will commence with the opening round on 26 April, before round two is on 26 July and the final round on 8 November.

It will cater to a wide variety of riders, from first-timer competitors to experienced racers and those of a national championship level.

The series will be hosted in conjunction with the Formula Xtreme Road Racing Club, sanctioned by the Queensland Raceways’ R.A.C.E.R.S. governing body. Motorcycling Australia (MA) licences will also be accepted.

Entry fees will be $225 per round, with the series closely based on the structure of the Australasian Superbike Championship (ASC). The series is being developed as a stepping-stone to the ASC series for Queensland-based racers.

Further information including prizes, licensing options and fees is available via www.qldraceways.com.au or by contacting Terry O’Neill 0419 448 452 or by email at [email protected].

In addition, an introductory five-event Race Your Mates series has also been confirmed for Queensland Raceway. Click here for additional information about the concept.
