The Valencia circuit will be a very busy place from 10-12 February as the majority of the riders from the 2015 Moto2 and Moto3 World Championship categories visit the Spanish venue for the first complete group test of this year.

Some teams held a brief test last week at Almeria, further south down the Spanish Mediterranean coast, but this is the first test of the year for the entire grids in each of the smaller classes.

There will be 30 Moto2 riders in attendance at Valencia with World Champion Tito Rabat (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS) surely likely to be amongst the pace setters. Rabat’s new colleague, Moto3 World Champion Alex Marquez, will aim to continue his adaptation to 600cc machinery and get as close to his more experienced friend’s lap time as possible.

Another strong all-Spanish line-up to keep an eye is the Paginas Amarillas HP 40 pairing of Luis Salom and Moto2 rookie Alex Rins, whilst the likes of Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport), Thomas Luthi (Derendinger Racing Interwetten), Xavier Simeon (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2), Simone Corsi (Forward Racing), Mika Kallio (Italtrans Racing Team) and Dominique Aegerter (Technomag Racing Interwetten) will all be shooting for the top of the timesheet.

In Moto3 there is a 32-strong rider line-up expected and at the team’s home circuit on their new Mahindra bikes the MAPFRE MAHINDRA Aspar Team trio of Francesco Bagnaia, Juanfran Guevara and Jorge Martin will all be keen to impress.

The newly restructured Estrella Galicia 0,0 team features an exciting pairing of Jorge Navarro and Fabio Quartararo on the Honda Moto3 machine, likewise the renamed Leopard Racing outfit featuring the strong line-up of Efren Vazquez, Danny Kent and Hiroki Ono.

Meanwhile the Red Bull KTM Ajo trio of Brad Binder, Miguel Oliveira and Karel Hanika, along with SKY Racing Team VR46’s Romano Fenati will be pushing hard on KTM machinery.

Elsewhere on the lightweight class grid, the likes of Niklas Ajo (RBA Racing Team) on the KTM and Enea Bastianini (Junior Team Gresini Moto3) on the Honda will also both be aiming for the top end of the timesheet.
