Honda Racing’s Jason O’Halloran and teammate Dan Linfoot are back on the testing trail this week in Monteblanco in Spain as they continued their pre-season preparations alongside the team’s newest member Jenny Tinmouth.

Linfoot and O’Halloran tested at the Spanish circuit at the start of the year and on Monday they returned to kick-off their next four days of testing before returning to the UK for the official test at Donington Park on 26 March.

“It has been a really good day to start this test and to come back with slightly warmer conditions and cross reference the data we had from our first test here is really positive,” O’Halloran said.

“We have done 104 laps today and we can keep working from where we finished the last time we were here. We can continue working through everything we need to over the next few days and keep building on what we’re already doing, but I am feeling happy.”

Tinmouth meanwhile had her first experience of the Honda Racing Fireblade at Monteblanco, using the opening day’s track time to get adjusted to the new machine and get up to speed after the winter.
